This cheese garlic bread with hot honey is the most indulgently delicious garlic bread you will ever try. The bread is spread generously with roasted garlic butter and topped with mozzarella and Parmesan. The bread is baked until the cheese is golden and melted before being drizzled with sweet hot honey.

Cheese garlic bread with hot honey: ingredients
This cheesy garlic bread recipe requires 8 key ingredients:
- A Loaf French or Italian bread
- Garlic
- Butter
- Mozzarella
- Vegetarian Parmesan
- Honey
- Fresh red chillies
- Apple cider vinegar

How to make cheesy garlic bread
Firstly you will need to roast your garlic. Choose a large garlic bulb and slice 1cm off the top, exposing the cloves. Drizzle olive oil into the bulb and wrap tightly in aluminium foil. Roast in an oven preheated to 205℃/185℃ fan.
The garlic is ready once it is lightly caramelised and the garlic flesh is soft. Allow the garlic to cool for 10-15 minutes, or until it has cooled enough to handle.

Add the butter to a small bowl and add the garlic flesh, salt, and pepper. Mix together using a fork and mash the garlic flesh.
Slice the bread in half and spread each half with the garlic butter. Combine together the mozzarella and Parmesan before sprinkling over the bread.

Bake the bread for 12-15 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbling.

Meanwhile, make the hot honey. Add the chilli and honey to a small pan. Heat until just starting to bubble, and simmer gently for 2 minutes. Take off the heat and stir through the apple cider vinegar.
Sprinkle the cheesy garlic bread with some dried parsley and drizzle with the hot honey. Enjoy!

How to jazz up garlic bread
I used hot honey to spice up this cheesy garlic bread, but there are plenty of other ways to improve garlic bread:
- Rosemary – sprinkle a few torn up rosemary sprigs over your cheesy garlic bread before baking. The intense aromas of rosemary pair well with the cheesy garlic flavours.
- Basil – tear a few fresh basil leaves over the cheesy garlic bread for a delicious herby flavour.
- Marinara dipping sauce – make a tomatoey pizza sauce to dip your cheesy garlic bread in.
- Mix up the cheese – add in some different cheeses to spice up your garlic bread. Why not try a strong blue cheese, a goat’s cheese, are a sharp Cheddar?
