Ingredients
To make these Buldak carbonara loaded fries, you will need:
- 350g frozen French fries (I used crinkle-cut fries)
- 100g frozen chicken nuggets or any crispy chicken (I used veggie chicken nuggets)
- 4 rashers bacon (I used vegan bacon)
- 1 Buldak Carbonara powder packet
- ½ Buldak Carbonara sauce packet (or more to taste)
- 1 x 125g ball mozzarella, torn into small pieces
- Kewpie mayo
- Furikake
- 1 spring onion, green part only, finely sliced

How to make Buldak carbonara loaded fries
First, cook the fries and chicken according to the packet instructions until golden and crispy.
Meanwhile, fry the bacon until crispy. Remove from the pan and chop into small pieces.
Chop the cooked chicken into bite-sized pieces. Add the hot fries and chicken to a large bowl. Sprinkle over the Carbonara seasoning packet and squeeze over half of the sauce packet. Toss well until everything is evenly coated.
Transfer the fries to a baking tray and scatter over the mozzarella. Grill (or broil) for 2–3 minutes until the cheese has melted and is bubbling.
Transfer the loaded fries to a large serving bowl. Sprinkle over the crispy bacon before drizzling generously with Kewpie mayo. Finish with the spring onion and furikake, then serve immediately.
